A special science program offered by Trinity Bay State High School​ enables you to do just that. It gives you the chance to learn about climate change, sea level rise and their impact on the spectac​ular Great Barrier Reef.

The program, run by James Cook University, is one of many offered by Queensland Government high schools to prepare students for their academic, sporting or professional future.

You can select from over 175 special programs, including aerospace, science, biology, business, creative industries, engineering, information technology, mathematics, music and sports.

These programs offer you a deeper understanding of your favourite subjects and can help you to make a head start in further study or to choose your future career.
