While we’ve made it as easy as possible to apply to study at a Queensland Government school, there are many things to consider—​ensuring you have the right visa is just one of them!

An education agent can step you through every stage of the application process and help you to understand exactly what is required of you.

They help you to make sure your application is perfect and give you the best chance to succeed.

Fill out a form

Download our application form and complete it electronically or print it and fill it out.

The form has a handy checklist of documents which you need to send and requires you to complete each section and provide additional supporting documents and information.

Completed forms can be submitted by your education agent or by you to email EQIAdmissions@qed.qld.gov.au​.

Application dates

It is important to allow suffici​ent time for your application and student visa to be processed prior to arriving in Queensland.

Check EQI application open and close dates.

As a guide:

• You should submit your application at least 3 months prior to your proposed commencement.
• If you are applying to Queensland Academies, you must submit your application to us at least 1 week prior to the Queensland Academies application closing date.
