Our global leaders study tour program develops students’ skills in leadership to shape our future global leaders. Students experience inspiring and challenging learning activities focused on building self-confidence, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. They build leadership skills that extend well beyond the study tour, forming a strong foundation for lifelong learning and global citizenship.
English language
The program is suited to students with high-level proficiency in English. Specialised English lessons can be arranged to further enhance the English skills and equip students with relevant terminology for future leadership roles.
Program components
We partner with premier education and training facilities, including local centres of leadership excellence, to deliver custom-designed experiences. Suggested program components include:
- roundtable discussions with school leaders on prearranged topics
- designated task or assignment to be completed during the study tour (pre-arranged)
- specialised English lessons based on leadership topics and delivered by a registered teacher
- cultural presentations to foster participants as cultural ambassadors for their country
- full-day excursion to Tallebudgera Beach Outdoor Education School for leadership and team building activities
- half-day excursion to a local university to experience the Queensland university environment and meet with local students
- full-day visit to Runaway Bay Sports and Leadership Excellence Centre for team building activities
- half-day visit to a local primary school to practise leadership skills and interact with local primary school students.
