School-based professional visit programs are designed to showcase Australian and Queensland school education. By participating in this program, overseas education professionals can observe best practice and innovation in the design, delivery and assessment of education and training programs in Queensland.

The program can be customised to meet the needs and interests of each individual group and may include:

  • the opportunity to meet school principals and senior teaching staff
  • classroom observations
  • access to information on certain topics of interest.

You can choose from over 1,275 Queensland Government schools throughout the state, including primary, secondary, Prep to Year 12, special and selective schools (academies). This includes many award-winning and high-performing schools. We can source the most appropriate school based on your requirements, or alternatively you may nominate your preferred school (subject to availability).

Similar visits to TAFE (Technical and Further Education) institutes, universities and other education institutions may be possible but are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Refer to the program comparison table for additional program features and conditions.
