Christy chose Mount Gravatt State High School at the suggestion of her cousin and because of the wide range of subjects offered.
Industrial design technology is her favourite subject – she is encouraged by her teachers to work hard and has even won an award.
She looks forward to studying more academic subjects in her senior high school years and is hoping to later study medicine at university.
