Itinerary
Day 1 25 September | You will be collected from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast at various locations. After collecting all students we will travel on our 4WD bus to Red Canyon, Teewah Beach and Double Island Point. We will take some photos of Point Lighthouse and the coloured sands of Rainbow Beach before buying lunch, then onto the ferry to K'gari. First stop is 75 Mile Eastern Surf Beach and then a swim at Lake Wabby. Look for turtles and fish in K'gari's deepest lake, relax on the sand or explore the forest. We will then head to Eurong Beach Resort and enjoy a buffet dinner before a night walk on the beach.

Day 2 26 September | This morning we head to Pine Valley and discover the amazing Satinay trees can grow to 40m tall and 1m wide. Then onto Central Station to learn about the history of milling wood on the island before we head to Woonggaoolba Creek to enjoy a boardwalk. We enjoy a picnic lunch at Lake Birrabeen and you have time for a swim in the crystal-clear waters or relax on the snow-white fine Sandy Beach. Return to the resort and explore some of the many nature walks before your evening meal. Relax around the campfire and later tonight watch as the stars seem to come down. They are so clear you can almost touch them!
