Principal's Welcome

I am proud to be the Principal of the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology, as it is one of the most successful and prestigious selective entry high schools in Australia.
Our Academy aims to extend student learning by blurring the line between school and university.

Our core curriculum is the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
This program encourages students to become global citizens and enables our graduates access to the world’s leading universities.

Our students are very committed to their studies and enjoy as range of extension experiences across all forms of the sciences, mathematics and technologies including astrophysics, molecular biology and robotics.
We celebrate our diversity through a full range of activities including musical performances, language competitions, sporting events and opportunities for active volunteering. This allows our students to achieve a balance between their academic work and cultural opportunities.

Three reasons to choose Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology

  1. Study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (world-wide curriculum)
  2. Study alongside like-minded students (gifted, talented, creative and global)
  3. Each campus offers particular specialities that meet the needs, aspirations and goals of that particular group of students.
