Three reasons to choose us

  1. A record of high academic achievement
  2. A range of cultural and sporting opportunities
  3. Pristine coastal environment on the Great Barrier Reef

Principal's welcome

Yeppoon is a township of approximately 15,000 people located on the coast of Central Queensland, 700km north of Queensland's capital city, Brisbane.

Yeppoon State High School has approximately 1,000 students from Year 7–12. We have a sister school relationship with a school in Japan and we have hosted many exchange and international students over the years. Our school's International program will only accept ten students at a time so you can be assured of personal, quality care and homestay.

Students and staff at our school live by four key values: Responsibility, Active Participation, Manners and Safety. Our international students have the option of studying an extensive range of academic subjects and being involved in our many sporting and cultural programs.

I thank you for choosing Yeppoon State High School as your study abroad destination.
