Principal's welcome

​​​​Woodcrest State College is a dynamic school providing the ultimate learning experience for all students.

Students of the college have a rich array of learning pathways to choose from catering for their educational needs and interests. The college also offers a number of state-of-the art facilities, including a brand-new technology hub, fully equipped gym, full sized industry catering facilities and professional studios for the Arts.

Also located on site is a Trade Training Centre, better known as Western Technical Excellence Centre (WesTEC). This centre partners with TAFE SouthWest to provide a range of certificate courses that prepare our students for immediate employment.

The school offers a well round curriculum ensuring seamless transition throughout the college.

Woodcrest State College provides a highly dedicated professional team to monitor carefully all aspects of student life. Our experienced homestay families ensure they provide safe and comfortable accommodation while also providing opportunities for cultural experiences.

Woodcrest State College is a Prep to Year 12 college located in the Greater Springfield City. Set on 17 acres of open space, the college is a dynamic school that provides the ultimate learning experience for the needs of students in the Greater Springfield area.

Woodcrest is an integral component of the 'Education City' concept established in the area. It is located close to the Springfield Campus of the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) and fosters close ties.

Woodcrest is a modern purpose-built school with state-of-the-art facilities. The school provides a broad and engaging curriculum for all students and provides opportunities for diverse paths of study. The college excels in Technology, Sport and Performing Arts programs.

Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.
