Welcome. I am Paul Robertson, the proud principal of Whites Hill State College
Our kindergarten to year 12 campus includes a High School Preparation Unit offering excellence in education programs. Our experienced teachers deliver programs in English literacy and offer extra support for international students.
The College is focused on academic excellence in a supportive environment. We have specialist English teachers delivering an intensive English language program. Science Beyond the Classroom links our students to universities and environmental education centres. Technology in the classroom occurs with students using iPads and Laptops. Improving English literacy extends through music and art.
The WHSC homestay program is highly valued. We have many families who look forward to welcoming international students into their homes and our students make lasting friendships with their Australian family.
We commit to offering leadership opportunities to our International students and have proven successful students. The leadership program includes an international ambassador team that share knowledge about Australian life.
We are waiting to welcome you to WHSC, the best place to be.

Leaders in literacy programs for international students
Whites Hill State College, located in spacious grounds just eight kilometres from Brisbane’s central business district, presents excellent opportunities for students to gain a truly international experience. With a strong history of international student participation, Whites Hill State College is excellent for an Australian immersion experience within a rigorous academic environment. Academic performance is supported by a highly successful positive behaviour program.
The college’s curriculum is enhanced by a range of extracurricular activities, including excursions, music and sports. Whites Hill SC is also home to the High School Preparation program, making us the gateway for English for international students on the south side of Brisbane.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.

All EQI Holiday Adventures are fully guided and escorted by qualified Queensland Government teachers and staff to ensure student safety. These programs are open to international students enrolled in an EQI high school, and additional fees apply. To find out more visit the holiday programs page
