Our school has a strong vision of
'educating the whole person within a supportive local school community'.
The school has a history of consistently high Academic Achievement, Musical Composition, Performance, Visual Arts, Leadership and Personal Development, Mandarin Chinese, Physical Outdoor and Sporting Programs.
Our staff develop and implement unique curriculum programs that profile our student abilities and parental aspirations. These programs complement and enhance traditional subjects providing acceleration, extension and enhancement. Active engagement in learning, challenges our students' curiosity and the desire to learn more.
Our sports hall is one of the largest indoor school sporting facilities providing 2,400 square metres of court playing area, modern facilities, storerooms, mezzanine level for weights, cardio rooms and large spectator area. Most nights and weekends you will find the sports hall filled with students and members of the community playing volleyball and basketball.
Our school offers many activities and encourages all students to become involved and actively participate. We look forward to developing a strong partnership with your family as we develop a strong sense of community involvement within our school.
As an inclusive, global learning school, we are renowned
state-wide for academic achievement and cultural
pursuits. Our school has welcomed international
students into our community for over 20 years.
We believe in Learners who Flourish. We value: Thinking
big, Stepping up, Paying it forward and Being kind.
Every student, every day, has the opportunity to feel a sense
of belonging in our community through teamwork, loyalty
and leadership. Students are able to engage in learning
that sparks their engagement, curiosity, joy and passions.
Our facilities include a unique leadership training
centre, a new Science, Technology, Engineering,
Art and Mathematics (STEAM) building, and both
an indoor sports and a performing arts centre.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.

There's an adventure to suit every taste - from visiting city landmarks and riding camels on an unforgettable Australian outback adventure, to exploring ancient rainforests and swimming with turtles off Queensland's pristine white sand beaches.
All holiday adventures are fully guided and escorted by qualified Queensland Government teachers and staff to ensure student safety. These programs are open to international students enrolled in an EQI high school and additional fees apply. Find out more about our holiday adventure programs.
