Set in leafy surroundings, Sunshine Beach State School is positioned right next door to the world famous Noosa National Park and beautiful Noosa beaches. Just over one hour drive from Brisbane, Sunshine Beach is the only international primary school on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. With spacious school grounds we provide the perfect setting for children from around the world to experience school life in Australia. Our school offers students a quality education along with many extra activities including surfing, gardening, dance and a variety of sport and music options. We have a proud history of hosting many international students at Sunshine Beach. Our caring teachers and friendly students enjoy welcoming children from around the world into their classrooms. We look forward to welcoming many more students to our picturesque, quality school in the future.
Parents and students at Sunshine Beach State School often comment on our positive, fun and supportive learning environment.
We have been an accredited Glasser Quality School since 2003, and we use the principles of Dr
William Glasser’s choice theory, reality therapy and lead management as our philosophy.
Because of this unifying approach, our learning environment will satisfy your child’s needs.
We create positive relationships based on trust and respect and our staff, students, families and
community strive together for quality in all that we do.
Since 1982 we have created a successful school with a unique, caring culture where your child will belong and feel safe and comfortable.
Every year we welcome students from many countries including Brazil, Japan, China and Korea.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.
