​Conveniently located on the southern boundary of Brisbane city, with direct transport links to Brisbane’s central business district (20 minutes). The school is situated on expansive land surrounded by trees, native birds and other wildlife. As such, Rochedale State High School enjoys a natural environment, while being only 45 minutes from the surf beaches and golden sands of the Gold Coast.

With a school population of 1330 students, attendance at Rochedale State High School offers a quality education with an emphasis on learning and support for the individual.

Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.

  • Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities
  • Host families are carefully selected from within the school community and undergo a police check as required by Queensland law
