Welcome to Robina State High School! I feel very lucky to be principal of this lovely school. We have 1400 students. They are very kind and welcome new friends from other countries. We love to study new languages, play sports like baseball, golf and football and learn about the beach and water sports. We also love to study hard and get good results to help us go to University and reach our goals.
We have the Gold Coast’s largest shopping mall and train station opposite our school. The beach is only 10 minutes away and we are also very close to famous theme parks.
We have special staff who work to make your stay a very special one. You are welcome to join the Robina High family.
We warmly welcome all guests to Robina State High School and the beautiful Gold Coast. Global citizenship is very important and our staff are very experienced in supporting international students.
Host families at Robina State High School are very friendly and enjoy learning about other cultures.
Students can choose from a wide range of programs including golf, baseball, football, drama, instrumental music and triathlon. We offer after school study groups and a private tutor for international students. Marine Science, Australian Sport Studies, cooking and woodwork are also popular with international students. So are our surfing lessons!
One hundred per cent of our students who made university applications in 2019 were successful in obtaining entry into their desired course.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.

* Students enrolled in Primary School must live with a parent or close relative as defined by the Australian Immigration Regulations.
EQI holiday adventure programs are an exciting and safe way for international students to travel and sightsee during school holidays.
There's an adventure to suit every taste - from visiting city landmarks and riding camels on an unforgettable Australian outback adventure, to exploring ancient rainforests and swimming with turtles off Queensland's pristine white sand beaches.
All holiday adventures are fully guided and escorted by qualified Queensland Government teachers and staff to ensure student safety. These programs are open to international students enrolled in an EQI high school and additional fees apply. Find out more about our holiday adventure programs.
