Principal's welcome

​​Kenmore State School is a highly regarded Independent Public School situated in the western suburbs of Brisbane. We have a strong, proud tradition and have been providing high quality education for children, from the Preparatory Year to Year 6, since 1900. Our school vision; Strive – Create – Achieve drives the work that we do in our school each day with the goal of ensuring every student is succeeding.

The school has a strong direction that is underpinned by our 4 core priorities. We aim to build successful learners through great teaching and setting high expectations. We also aim to build strong partnerships with our parents and school community, forging a genuine sense of trust with our community.

Kenmore State School is in western Brisbane, close to The University of Queensland, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and public transport.

For 120 years, we have provided children with high-quality education. We are proud of our current academic results, which are above the state average and continue to celebrate our champion sports teams.

Our goal is success for every student through individual teaching and communication with parents.
