​Kenmore State High School is a well-regarded Independent Public School in the western suburbs of Brisbane. It is one of the highest performing academic schools in Queensland. Its high quality academic reputation is further enhanced by the outstanding extracurricular programs and links to the University of Queensland, Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology.

Kenmore State High School is situated within ten kilometres of the central business district, close to the University of Queensland in the leafy suburbs of Brisbane. Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.

  • Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities
  • Host families are carefully selected from within the school community and undergo a police check as required by Queensland law
