Principal's welcome

​​Welcome to our Kelvin Grove State College profile. We are a Prep to Year 12 school in the centre of Brisbane. As a school involved in educating international students from all over the world for the past 20 years, Kelvin Grove State College offers a first rate ‘Preparatory through Pathways’ educational experience. We are also situated across the road from the Queensland University of Technology, a world class university and have many strong links with this university that add value to the student learning experiences here at the college.

Our school has a very strong academic, cultural and sporting history and is characterised by a number of Excellence programs in academic subject areas, as well as Art and Design, Engineering and a number of sports. The college also offers the academic program for students in the Queensland Ballet Academy. Our college community plays a vital role in providing the important balance between academic excellence and the social and emotional well-being of our students. Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.
