Hello, my name is Colin Allen-Waters and I am the proud College Principal of Kawana Waters State College.Kawana Waters State College is a co-educational Queensland Government State School offering education from Prep to Year 12 on two adjoining campuses. The total current student population is 1530.
Our College is situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, approximately 100 km north of Brisbane. Located between Mooloolaba and Caloundra, our College is unique because it is not only close the Pacific Ocean, but also to the world class sports and rowing precincts of Stockland Park and Lake Kawana. Because of this unique location, we have built valuable partnerships that have played an important role in our Programs of Excellence in Football and Aquatics. We also offer Programs of Excellence in Academia and the Arts as part of our diverse, engaging curriculum.
International friendships, International Study Tours and a global perspective projected through our curriculum are the result of a very successful and internationally celebrated International Program that hosts hundreds of International students from Asia, Europe, The Americas and Britain annually. The culture of our College is positively shaped by this exciting program. Kawana Waters P-12 State College is internationally accredited through the Council of International Schools.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.
