It is my pleasure to welcome you to Jindalee State School. Jindalee State School is a co-educational primary school located in the residential suburb of Jindalee, in the western Centenary area of Brisbane.
Our school philosophy, built around the Jindalee Way, provides the firm foundation for everyone in our school community to pursue their goals and aspirations. The Jindalee Way Philosophy encourages all members of the school community to be active and informed citizens.
Our school has taken a community and educational leadership role in developing a values-based curriculum aimed at academic excellence. Our school has successfully integrated a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program from Year 2 to Year 6. This program began in 2014, making Jindalee State School the only primary school in Queensland chosen to be a part of a Department of Education, Training and Employment BYOD Research Project.
A global perspective reflects the multicultural community and international student program, and is focussed on educating students for a clever and creative future.
At Jindalee State School we are proud of our high academic performance, and our safe and respectful culture of learning.
Regarded as a leading school in eLearning, we are committed to Creating a Clever Future Today - to prepare you for secondary school and success in the 21st century.
We offer extension programs such as technology training, and extracurricular activities like clubs, sport, music, arts, and academic competitions to give you a balanced life.
Our school is 300 metres from the Brisbane River and close to popular Rocks Riverside Park and Lone Pine Wildlife Sanctuary – with koalas and kangaroos.
Students and teachers here are welcoming and kind and our International Buddy Program will make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.
