​Welcome to Helensvale State High School, which is a dynamic and academic school that strives to put the interests of students first in all we do by providing a personal learning experience for each and every student.

We are now the academic school of choice on the northern Gold Coast with over 2,​500 students attending our school. We have a highly sought after International Student Program that accepts a maximum of 25 international students each year.

The international students experience the best of care and support and a world of opportunities to engage in academics, the arts, sport, marine studies and 1 ​​of the widest range of subjects and activities within any school in Queensland. Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.
