Principal's welcome

​​​It is with pride that I welcome you to Craigslea State High School. We are a co-educational school of approximately 1,000 students established in 1975.

Craigslea has an excellent reputation for high academic standards, with a genuine commitment among staff, students and homestay families to ensure our international students enjoy the highest quality study experience. We are centrally located close to the city of Brisbane.

We have a long established International Student Program (20 years), with past students having very high satisfaction levels with teachers and homestay families - 100% of past students say that they would recommend the school.

Craigslea provides a quality education where students are both challenged and supported in a well ordered, caring environment. Experienced and highly qualified teachers work individually with students of all ability levels.

We are a member of the Council of International Schools. This means that the school has been evaluated and meets rigorous international benchmark standards across all aspects of the school’s operations and is achieving top level performance in provision of a world class education.

Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.
