Broadbeach State School is an independent public school located in the heart of the Gold Coast, close to surf breaks at beautiful Kurrawa Beach.
The school has a reputation for excellence and success,
achieved through a strong focus on highly structured English and mathematics programs. Academies and excellence programs are available to gifted students in music, sport, dance and football. Students can choose from an extensive range of extracurricular sports, clubs and activities that take place before and after school.
Broadbeach has a diverse student population with links to over 60 countries, including Japan, China, India and the United Kingdom, and has many years’ experience hosting international study tours. A full-time English as a Second Language/Dialect (EAL/D) teacher provides students with specialist English language support.
Homestay* enables EQI students to truly experience Australia's famous lifestyle.
By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment. International students often develop lasting friendships with their homestay families.
Standard Homestay fees have been set and these are listed on the EQI program fees page.

* Students enrolled in Primary School must live with a parent or close relative as defined by the Australian Immigration Regulations.
EQI Holiday Adventure Programs are an exciting and safe way for International Students to travel and sightsee during school holidays.
There's an EQI adventure to suit every taste - from visiting city landmarks and riding camels on an unforgettable Australian 'outback' adventure, to exploring ancient rainforests and swimming with turtles off Queensland's pristine white sand beaches.
All EQI Holiday Adventures are fully guided and escorted by qualified Queensland Government teachers and staff to ensure student safety. These programs are open to international students enrolled in an EQI high school, and additional fees apply. To find out more visit the holiday programs page
