​​​Welcome to Annandale State School​, a place where we work together to support you in becoming an independent lifelong learner and equip you with the skills and knowledge to pursue your goals.

Our school community places great importance on good manners, considerate behaviour and pride in our school and ourselves. We believe that your education is a partnership between your school and home, and we greatly value family involvement in providing you with the very best education possible in a safe, secure and happy environment.

'Creating the Future' is our school motto and we focus on developing your reading and comprehension skills, numeracy and mathematic understanding through hands on learning​. Our strong curriculum is balanced with many opportunities for you in sport and music. The school has Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) opportunity in year 5 and Year 6.​

Annandale State School is a large school for Prep to Year 6 students. The school is centrally located in tropical Townsville and is close to shopping, parks and sporting facilities.

Our motto is 'Creating the Future' and we balance academic studies with music, sport and inclusive support.

We value good manners and take pride in ourselves and our school. We encourage and welcome parents to be involved in the school community.

Planning and teaching of writing, phonics, reading and mathematics are led and supported by key staff within the school.
