Principal's Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to Alexandra Hills State High School where your son or daughter will be challenged and nurtured on their way to adulthood.

Our up to date academic programs include the full range of subjects offered in Queensland with a particular focus on coding, robotics and automation. Extra lessons in English language and opportunities for excursions are important inclusions in the program of study and we carefully monitor all aspects of students’ school life to ensure that they get the best out of their time with us. We also ensure that students, who have their own special lounge where they can relax, always feel supported.

Our highly committed team of teachers and our experienced homestay families, who provide safe and comfortable homes, ensure that the experience of our students academically, culturally and personally makes their time at our school both happy and fulfilling.

Three reasons to choose Alexandra Hills State High School

  1. Well-established, welcoming school in a natural bushland setting
