About Us
Education Queensland International (EQI) develops and promotes programs for international students who want to study at a Queensland Government School, Australia.
EQI's dedicated team of professionals specialise in managing the unique requirements of international students and their families. It is EQI's number one priority to provide international students with the support and encouragement they need to achieve their full academic potential in a safe and fun learning environment.
EQI is a division of Queensland Government's Department of Education and Training (DET).
The Department of Education and Training trading as EQI is a registered education provider on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Our provider number is 00608A. EQI provides primary and secondary school courses to international students through selected Queensland Government Schools.
All registered education providers are required to have in place a policy regarding compliance with the "code of ethics" developed by Ministers of the Commonwealth and the State Governments responsible for education matters that are directed at ensuring international students are financially protected from default by providers.
