Queensland is famous for beautiful beaches and surf culture, so it’s not surprising that international students can’t wait to experience one of our most iconic sports.

Our beginner to advanced level surfing programs give you the opportunity to surf up to four times each week, leaving you plenty of time to focus on other important academic subjects including English, maths, science and more.

Your first easy step is to find a Queensland Government school that offers the surf excellence program. Here’s how:

  1. Go to our find a school page.
  2. Input your chosen year level into the ‘year levels’ section.
  3. Click in the ‘subject choices’ area and scroll down to ‘surfing /body boarding’.
  4. Click on the search button. If no results are shown, you may need to adjust the year level and try again.
