English

Health and Physical Education
Health and Physical Education is sometimes called HPE. It’s a mixture of classroom learning and getting out and being active, which is great in the warm Queensland climate. Classes might include learning about healthy concepts or practising different sports and movement activities.
Technologies
Design and
technology skills are needed to create new products, materials and buildings, to inform and communicate, and to enhance the use of virtual reality modelling, particularly in research and teaching applications.
The Arts
From painting to pottery and violin to musical theatre, there is so much to do in the arts. If you want a creative career, you can certainly make a good start by studying arts subjects at school. Arts subjects also help build your confidence and teach you to problem-solve creatively—great skills for any career.
Languages
Learning different languages is such a useful skill. Not only does it help you communicate with people in different countries, it helps you understand people better and can strengthen your literacy skills. Queensland is a very multicultural place and there are many different languages you can learn in our schools.
