Support services to help keep you safe
We have a range of
support services to help you to settle in and get used to your new school and your accommodation. You can keep using these services during your stay.
- Your school has an
international student coordinator who is the contact point for all your enquiries.

School staff help with many things including education matters, extracurricular activities, and health and personal concerns.
- There is an
emergency contact person who is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There’s safety and wellbeing information on our
free student safety app,
Your Passport to Queensland, for you to access anytime. This includes information to help you in different situations, and how to stay safe at the beach, in the bush and in the city.
- You can access our free
student support hotline service outside school hour—1800 QSTUDY (1800 778 839). The service provides advice and assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
