Principal's welcome

Welcome to Mabel Park State High School—a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, just 20 minutes south of Brisbane. Nestled among beautiful tree-lined grounds, we offer a rich and supportive learning environment where every student is known, valued, and celebrated.

With a growing student community of nearly 1,820 students and 72 cultures represented, we take pride in fostering a strong sense of belonging. Our strength lies in our diversity, with 14% of our students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, and 46% from Māori or Pacific Islander heritage.

Our staff are passionate educators committed to student success, innovation, and wellbeing. We lead the way in educational initiatives, including Queensland's first GP in school clinic and multi-faith centre. Our students benefit from broad subject offerings, from hair and beauty and drone technology, to the award-winning Health Hub and excellence in sports, arts and leadership.

At Mabel Park, every student is supported to explore their interests, find their passion, pursue their goals and graduate with confidence and purpose. There is truly something here for everyone.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Mabel Park family.
