Jindalee State School is a co-educational Queensland state government Prep to Year 6 school, with an enrolment of 600 students. Our students are predominantly from the Centenary suburbs and nearby areas with fee-paying students also welcome to enrol. At Jindalee State School, we genuinely engage parents as full partners in their children's education.
Our school motto is 'Onwards in Honour'. This is enacted through our belief that all students, of all abilities, are entitled to a high-quality education that engages, challenges and extends. By providing an optimal inclusive learning environment, we shape critical, curious and creative thinkers.
Our expert teaching team rigorously teaches the Australian Curriculum and we are proud of our high academic performance. Additionally, we teach and model social and emotional skills, values and expectations for behaviour, to support student wellbeing and engagement.
We are regarded as a leading school in eLearning and have a successful Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program from Years 2–6. We are committed to using technology and devices to enhance and leverage innovative and inclusive practices to engage all learners. A range of extracurricular activities, such as instrumental music—string and band, choir, marimba, drumming, coding, chess, student council, senior leadership, technology student crew club, academic competitions and extensive curricular sporting programs are offered to our students to enhance their experience at Jindalee State School.
