Principal's welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Jindalee State School. We are a co-educational primary school located in the residential suburb of Jindalee, in the western Centenary area of Brisbane.

Our school philosophy, built around the Jindalee Way, provides the firm foundation for everyone in our school community to pursue their goals and aspirations. The Jindalee Way Philosophy encourages all members of the school community to be active and informed citizens.

Our school has taken a community and educational leadership role in developing a values-based curriculum aimed at academic excellence. Our school has successfully integrated a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program from Year 2 to Year 6. This program began in 2014, making Jindalee State School the only primary school in Queensland chosen to be a part of a Department of Education, Training and Employment BYOD Research Project.

A global perspective reflects the multicultural community and international student program, and is focussed on educating students for a clever and creative future.
