Our school enjoys an enviable reputation which is rich in tradition, and recognised for its innovation and progressive programs. We are very proud of our school and what it has to offer your child.

Corinda SHS is well regarded for its high standards and expectations in relation to academic excellence. Our curriculum programs would have to be the most extensive and broad ranging programs on offer in the Metropolitan region. Our school has a very strong focus on science & maths and in the arts and a very competitive sporting reputation. Our elite sporting programs in tennis, football and dance are recognised for their elite specialised training and coaching.

The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities including instrumental music, debating and agriculture. We are recognised for our successes in the International Space Design Competition.

Every student graduates from this school competitive, qualified and proud to say they went to Corinda SHS.

Corinda State High School is one of Brisbane’s leading co-educational Independent Public Schools. It is located in a beautiful, leafy setting in the western suburbs of Brisbane, just 20 minutes by train from the city.

Students are encouraged to achieve personal excellence in their academic endeavours and to perform at their optimum level, whether in the academic arena, the Arts, on the sporting fields or volunteering in the community.

Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.

Holiday adventure programs are an exciting and safe way for students to travel and sightsee during school holidays.
