Principal's welcome

Welcome to Ashmore State School. We take great pride in our school and the way in which we continuously work together in an inclusive learning environment.

We focus on 4 key areas of learning:

aspirational learning ensuring that all children set goals to reach their highest level of achievement
personalised learning that honors each student as an individual learner
connected learning through immersion in digital technologies linking students with peers and teachers, experts and places within the classroom and beyond
precision teaching and learning through the uniquely accurate deep teacher knowledge of the subjects taught.

Our curriculum caters for personalised learning designed to suit every child's needs and which includes our distinctive International Student Program (ISP).

Together we continue to build a school based on positive values and attitudes preparing our students today for a successful life tomorrow.

Ashmore State School, centrally located on Queensland's beautiful Gold Coast, is situated on 6 hectares of attractive, landscaped grounds, with very well-resourced facilities, including performing arts, media and digital technology rooms, and numerous outdoor learning and sporting areas.

We aim to create a learning community where students can become productive young citizens in their local and global communities.

We ensure that studies in our classrooms include Indigenous and international perspectives.

Our caring and qualified teachers are well-trained for the challenges of modern school education and will prepare your child for life after school.

Everyone in our school community is 'Proud to Shine' and all contribute to shared success.
