The objective of Quality Assurance (QA) is to ensure that all international students are satisfied with the quality of their Queensland study experience. EQI is Australia’s leader in the implementation and design of quality educational services for international students.
The following quality standards mean that international students are assured of receiving the support they need to focus on their studies and enjoy the benefits of studying in a Queensland Government school or college.
Students can expect to be taught by teachers at Queensland Government schools who hold a minimum of a four year undergraduate university degree and many have postgraduate qualifications.
Queensland Government schools comply with the following class size recommendations:
25 students recommended per class in senior high school (Years 11 and 12) and in Prep to Year 3 classes
28 students recommended per class in junior high school (Years 7 to 10) and upper primary schools (Years 4 to 6)
