Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018)

Study in a Queensland Government school and  'Share the Dream'.

On 4 April 2018 one of the world’s largest sporting events will unfold on Queensland’s Gold Coast. GC2018 organisers are busy creating a spectacular program for all the athletes, spectators and volunteers taking part in the 11-day event which will be watched by a global television audience of over 1.5 billion people.

In keeping with Queensland’s love of sport, GC2018 will have the largest program in Commonwealth Games history with 18 sports and 7 para-sports. This will be complemented by numerous performances, art events and creative activities to maintain a festive atmosphere before and during the Games.

Significant investment in GC2018 infrastructure will provide a legacy of benefits for local communities and visitors to our beautiful Sunshine State during the Games and into the future.
