Global leaders program

The Queensland Government recognises the importance of introducing leadership concepts to students, to empower and prepare them for future leadership roles. This ethos is embedded in Queensland Government schools, which provide high quality teaching and skilling focused on preparing students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to participate effectively in the global community.

The Global Leaders study tour program develops students’ skills in leadership to shape our future global leaders. Students will experience inspiring and challenging learning activities focused on building self-confidence, communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. This program will provide leadership skills that will extend well beyond the study tour, forming a strong foundation for life-long learning and global citizenship.

This program is suited to students with high level proficiency in English. Specialised English lessons can be arranged to further enhance students’ English language proficiency and equip them with relevant terminology for future leadership roles.
