All students from a non-English speaking background receive specialist English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) lessons so they can fully participate in classroom and extracurricular activities.
Primary school provides a strong foundation for future study and the support students need to become accustomed to our Queensland school routine.
Primary school age students must live with a parent, approved relative or legal custodian for the duration of their study.
Program length: 1 semester to 7 years.
Age range: 6 to 11 years.
School year: Prep to Year 6.
Program entry: At the beginning of any school term (January, April, July, October). Note that entry in Term 3 or 4 (July or October) of Year 6 is subject to school approval due to end of year exams.
