There are 7 years of primary school from Prep (students are usually 4–5 years old) and then 6 more years ending at Year 6. The Queensland
high school program then starts from Year 7 through Years 8–11 and finishes in Year 12.
Primary school provides the foundation for children to enjoy and experience a positive start to their early development and learning.
We offer all students who come from a non-English speaking background the specialist English as an Additional Language/Dialect lessons they need to participate in classroom and extracurricular activities.
In primary school, students learn how to study and become used to the Queensland school routine.
Of course, primary school children must live with a parent, approved relative or legal guardian while they are studying.
