Qld Academies International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Unlike other Queensland Government schools, the Queensland Academies only deliver the IB Diploma curriculum.

Students commence at the Academies at the beginning of Year 10 for a three-year immersion IB program.

Queensland Academy students benefit from unique partnerships with the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University, providing them with a smooth transition to university study.

Teaching staff engage students in a strong research-based model of learning in collaboration with university and industry partners.

Program length: Three years

Age range: 15 to 18 years

School years: Years 10 to 12

Program entry: At the beginning of Term 1 (January) in Year 10
