Tuition fees apply for EQI study programs. Fees vary depending on which program you choose and the duration of your study.
Tuition fees for Education Queensland International (CRICOS Provider Code: 00608A) cover:
All fees must be paid in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST if applicable.
EQI will not collect more than 50% of your total tuition fees for a course before the student has commenced the course; unless the relevant course is for less than 25 weeks or the student/payer elects to do so.
Some non-tuition fees may also apply for items such as school uniforms and non-curriculum activities. These costs may differ from school to school.
Tuition fees are subject to change, are reviewed on an annual basis and usually increase each year in line with the Government Indexation Rate.
Where indicative fees are charged (awaiting release of confirmed fees), applicants will be required to pay the adjusted fees from the date of implementation.
The minimum enrolment length for the Primary School program is 2 terms (6 months).
The maximum enrolment length in the Junior and Senior High School (Study Abroad) and Junior and Senior High School (Regional Study Abroad) programs is 4 terms.
Enrolment requests to commence the Junior and Senior High School (Study Abroad) and Junior and Senior High School (Regional Study Abroad) programs in Term 3 and/or 4 of Year 12 are subject to school approval.
A component of the IB program fee is set independently by the IB Organisation and is subject to change.
Tuition fees for Years 11 and 12 include the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) moderation fee which is required to validate student assessments and results for subjects studied across all Queensland schools.
Non-tuition fees‡ are subject to change, are reviewed on an annual basis and usually increase each year in line with the Government Indexation Rate. Applicants will be required to pay the adjusted fees from the date of implementation.
The homestay placement fee* and administration fees* are non-refundable.
OSHC fees± are determined by the OSHC provider and are subject to change. For further information on OSHC, please refer to the OSHC provider, currently Allianz Global Assistance.
To withdraw from the homestay program, at least 2 weeks' notice must be provided.
To withdraw from a program of study, at least 10 weeks' notice must be provided.
Students may be able or required to bring their own device or they may be able to borrow a device from their school for a fee.
