Day 14 October
All students will be collected from BP Garage, North side, Coomera at 6am. The Brisbane Transit Centre, level 3 Gate 36 at 6.45am. You can also be collected at 8.15am Cooma Terrace, Caloundra.
After collecting all students we travel on our 4WD bus to Double Island Point. Take some photos of Point Lighthouse and the coloured sands of Rainbow Beach, then onto the ferry to Fraser Island.
First stop is 75 Mile Eastern Surf Beach, then a swim at Lake Wabby. Spot turtles and fish in Fraser Islands deepest lake. Relax on the sand or explore the forest. We follow the beach to our campsite. This evening we enjoy a beach walk and natre trails before enjoying our BBQ dinner, campfire and outdoor entertainment.Meals included: Dinner
Day 25 October
This morning we travel 75 Mile Beach to Eli Creek, enjoy floating down the fastest flowing creek on the Island, marvel a the coloured sand formation at The Pinnacles and photo the famous Maheno Shipwreck. We continue on 75 Mile Beach to Champagne Pools for a refreshing swim, climb Indian Head to see magnificent views, you may even spot a shark or turtle. Return to camp and explore some of the many nature walks before your evening meal. Relax around the campfire and late tonight watch as the stars seem to come down, they are so clear you can almost touch them!Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 36 October
Early rise this morning to watch the sunrise over the ocean, or enjoy a nature walk before breakfast. Then we swim, hike and take lots of photographs of the beach and wildlife. We stop at Lake Mackenzie then head to Wanggoolba Creek to enjoy a boardwalk, see giant King Ferns and the world heritage satinay forest. Then we return to Rainbow Beach via Hook Point (lunch is at own expense). Time to take the ferry home, arriving at Noosa 3pm, Caloundra 5pm and Brisbane 7pm.Meals included: Breakfast
