EQI is pleased to announce a number of international student ambassador scholarships on offer for 2017
EQI Scholarships are available to exemplary students embarking on an international school experience. The study experience whilst in a Queensland Government School is a very positive, rewarding and life-changing experience for young people. In collaboration with EQI, recipients will have the opportunity to share their experiences through testimonials, networking and social media, as an EQI international student ambassador.
EQI scholarships cover a portion of tuition fees for international students applying to join the EQI International Student Program (ISP).
Round Four – Three agent open scholarships open from 1 February 2017 to 23:59hrs Brisbane, Australia time on Saturday 15 April 2017 for students commencing in July 2017.
Eligible nationalities: International students from any nationality may apply for Round 4 schorlarships.

EQI uses authorised recruitment representatives in the countries listed. EQI scholarships are only available when applications are made through an approved education agent. In the Agent category there are two types of scholarships:
EQI agent open scholarships are offered to international students from any nationality.
Length of study
Students must study at least one year to be eligible to apply for an agent open EQI scholarship.
EQI scholarship value
Each bursary is valued up to AUD$5,000 and paid once only.
This covers partial payment of ISP tuition and is credited against the second invoice.
Who can apply?
EQI agent open scholarships are open to new international student applications. Current EQI international students are not eligible to apply for a scholarship in their current program or extend their studies in the same program.
Where can I study?
The schools offered by EQI depend on school and program availability, location and subject and excellence program offerings to suit the student’s study abroad experience.
International students are required to meet EQI’s English and academic entry requirements
International students must meet the student visa requirements subclass 500
International students must apply through one of EQI’s approved education agents from their country
Scholarship recipients will be required to cover the remaining cost of their studies including tuition fees for subsequent terms/years, homestay, Overseas Students Health Cover, course materials, visa application, flights and living costs
The following additional requirements may apply to some of the scholarship programs in certain countries:
a short proposal or sample of work, in English, demonstrating the student’s ability to share their experience through testimonials and social media ‘blogs’ as an EQI international student ambassador
a history of high education achievement
a letter of recommendation from a school academic staff member
evidence of high achievement in a relevant field when applying for an excellence program.
To be eligible, EQI scholarship applicants must submit all requirements. Incomplete applications will not be considered or processed. EQI full agent open scholarship application rules and checklists are available from any EQI-approved education agent assisting students from your country.
