[00:00:06] Located in Kelvin Grove urban village, within two kilometers of inner city Brisbane, students of Queensland Academy's creative industries campus enjoy campus life in a multicultural village environment. As a CRICOS accredited school we are capable of taking international students. [00:00:22] I was living in Germany when I made the decision to come to QACI. All the opportunities and all the amazing people I've met it's undeniable that, that chance I would have not had anywhere else. [00:00:33] So one of the best things about QACI is like mindedness having other students that can speak your language in a sense. [00:00:39] We have world class facilities here which are quite unique so we have a green room, the recording studio, a theatre filled with amazing lighting and a sound desk. [00:00:47] Undertaking the rigorous I.B. Diploma Program students have a variety of subject options available when studying a QACI. [00:00:55] The fact that you have to study a language we're immersed in a second culture which is giving you that head start in being able to connect to other places and being able to work in other places. [00:01:04] Being a D.T student I get to make prototypes that could be used for future inventions which is so exciting you know we're not in a high school that's just teaching you to be a student but teaching you to challenge yourself and make a change. [00:01:17] The campus facilities allow QACI to offer the full group six arts subjects including dance, film, design, music, theatre and visual arts. [00:01:27] Developing strong skills and enterprise and innovation graduates from the creative industries campus are well-placed for careers in today's dynamic evolving modern workplace environment. [00:01:37] With most high schools they prepare you with the basics for university but QACI goes way beyond that. They don't just provide you with the groundwork, they've already started building that structure that, deeper thought into topics. [00:01:50] The different learning styles you can apply more to university. This is why universities really like it if you have an I.B. score because it's more like a lecture learn environment. I really like that, I learned well from that so QACI is perfect for me. [00:02:02] So QACI is basically almost like a free rein for your creativity and I really really enjoy that. [00:02:10] It's made me challenge myself, made me want to challenge myself and then of course from being challenged I get the rewards and I've learned so much. I'm not just learning a curriculum I'm learning to be a part of the world.
