Principal's welcome

​​​Welcome to Kingaroy State High School and our international student program. Kingaroy State High School offers international students the opportunity to study abroad, in a welcoming, friendly and rural location. The school is a friendly, medium sized school, with a current enrolment of 1050 students ranging from Years 7 – 12.

Kingaroy State High School boasts a wide variety of specialised programs (including wine tourism, agricultural studies, and trade training centres for industrial studies) within its curriculum program. Students, staff and the community enjoy the many available facilities Kingaroy State High School has to offer. The school serves the Kingaroy community and has a student population base that reflects both town and country families.

Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.

Holiday adventure programs are an exciting and safe way for students to travel and sightsee during school holidays.
