Tokyo high school program to return to Queensland in 2020

It is a great pleasure to announce that the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education (TMBoE) has chosen EQI to host its 'Next-Generation Leaders (Ji-Sedai) Scholarship' program in 2020. The program will bring up to 60 TMBoE students to Queensland for a one-year high school and homestay experience and has been successfully hosted by Queensland Government schools four times since 2015.

Last month, Tony Cook, Director-General, Department of Education, welcomed a TMBoE delegation to Queensland to continue discussions around early childhood education and the integration of technology in schools.

The 12 TMBoE delegates enjoyed visits to a selection of state schools which showcased language learning, Preparatory (Prep) programs, learning technologies and the Queensland Government IMPACT Centre.

The IMPACT centre enables schools and organisations to leverage the power of online technology by providing access to inspiring specialist teachers, premium professional networks and evidence-based practices.
