Agent 'fam' visit: memorable moments and a big thumbs up for Queensland!
Our recent agent familiarisation 'fam' visit was a great success and we received fantastic feedback from all the participating agents and schools. Everyone loved the Queensland lifestyle and beautiful destinations, and every school impressed our guests!
In addition to EQI workshops and networking opportunities, the group of domestic and overseas-based agents from Asia and Latin America visited 13 schools on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and in Cairns.
There were so many memorable moments, including snorkelling on Green Island in Cairns and an introduction to marine science on the Gold Coast. Agents handled snakes and other native animals at Corinda State High School (SHS), and met cows, chickens and horses at Nambour SHS and Centenary SHS. Hospitality students cooked up feasts, and musicians entertained at Meridan State College, while at Murrumba SHS, the group were welcomed by Baxter, the school robot, before enjoying a lesson in drone-flying!
A big thank you to our visitors, schools and everyone who contributed to this memorable event to strengthen the knowledge and understanding of EQI schools, people and programs.
