Title: Production and Live Services Redlynch State College 

Chris: Certificate 3 in light production and services commenced about 7 years ago. We establish as a center of excellence in arts.
Basically we offer staging, lighting, audio recording in a recording studio and we basically provide all the technical experiences 
for every event that we do - roughly a hundred and twenty a year. We've got partners in the community in Events Management and so we 
actually do their festivals and they (students) get out there and get the real hands on experience. 

Chris: Offering international students the chances to see the community in a different light, to work with with kids at Redlynch State College 
in a more responsible manner. The pleasure of it, is look, at reflecting back and seeing the skills that the students have gained is multitude.
From lighting technicians to the skills in how to manage an event under stress and under pressure. It is an assessment, it's a course - 
it's a Certificate 3. So they are learning the skills but they're applying them in real life events, real life circumstances. 

Chris: To do bachelor of audio engineering, lighting, events management, band management. Some students have gone off, literally now have going off, 
into the industry because of that. We are linked which JMC Academy which is in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne. I think the most amazing thing for the 
students is watching their faces after an event when they've succeeded. When they've produced a show, or a dance show, or a festival, or a carnival. 
I think seeing that pride that they have and students that sometimes don't usually hang around each other, watching them shake hands and hug each 
other in pride really brings out what it is and that's excellence.
