Neil: I'm Neil, I came from the Philippines, I'm in Year 11 and I am doing the International Baccalaureate Program. I chose this program because I knew that this was going to help me a lot. When I go to university because I plan to study psychology in university and then follow it up with neuroscience. To be honest I really didn't know what the International Baccalaureate was before I went here. But once I delved into it was it was such an amazing program to be with and I know that the things that I've learned in the Philippines were greatly incorporated in the program that I have now and it's stepping it up to the next level. So the IB program is an intensive program. It doesn't want you to develop only academically. It also wants you to develop your creativity activity and service and that's actually one of our subjects. And this program is teaching us to be globally aware students and eventually become globally aware citizens of the world. The Filipinos are very intelligent people and I know that this program is going to help them enhance their knowledge and it's going to help them into the future plans as well if they actually plan to study at university here. (Tagalo language) If you want to study in a beautiful place as well as see happy faces, come to Queensland, and if you are brave, take up the International Baccalaureate Program.
