Amelie: “My favourite class is agriculture because I have a little farm at home, like a little hobby farm, and I actually like the experience for my life later I want to study agriculture, so it’s really good that I have the Agriculture class here. Aaron: So the agriculture program goes from year seven through to year twelve. Year sevens start off with a really basic level with an introduction to the farm, and as we progress up through the year levels the intensity, in regards to the content delivered, also increases. Damien: Our big push at the moment with our learning and focus is on solutions to major food crisis through agriculture. We run a massive agricultural program based around fish, red claw and also the marriage of hydroponics and agriculture through aquaponics. Reece: What I like about the agriculture program is there are a lot of different branches you can go into, a lot of different subjects. You can go into cattle, sheep, plants – you can go into cropping.
