Course Outline

The Unilearn Foundation Program is a high quality university pathway program with a number of special features: 

Unilearn

The Unilearn Foundation Program is designed specifically to provide international students, who have not completed secondary school in Australia, with the necessary training and preparation to successfully undertake university level studies at an Australian university.

Course Structure

Unilearn Foundation Program consists of:

Certificate II, Certificate III and Certificate IV

The course has four subject areas of Language and Communication, Mathematics, Business and Information & Communication Technology focused towards English as a Second Language students.

Completion of the Unilearn Foundation Program

Upon successful completion of all of the Levels of the Unilearn Foundation Program, a Certificate registered under the Australian Qualifications Framework will be issued by a Government approved Registered Training Provider, and students will be able to apply to universities for entry to Bachelor Degree courses.

Minimum Academic Requirements for Entry

For entry to the Unilearn Foundation Program, students must have an English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 4.5 to 5.0.

Students without an official IELTS result of 4.5 or higher will need to complete an English language pre-course before entry into the program.

Teachers
The Unilearn Foundation Program is taught only by teachers whose first language is English, many of whom are Australians.  The teachers in the program possess approved teaching qualifications and suitable subject experience. Maximum class size is 25 students to allow for individual support from the teacher and student involvement in learning activities.

Recognition

Unilearn Foundation Program Certificate IV is recognised by many of Australia’s best universities. A minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) External Link score of 6.0 is prerequisite for entry to a Bachelor’s degree at most universities.
